In pursuit of continuous learning and improvement in institutional systems and programs, Mindanao State University (MSU) conducted a benchmarking visit to Cavite State University’s Gender and Development Resource Center (GADRC) on September 10, 2024.

Dr. Hernando D. Robles, CEO VI, University President, along with team members from CvSU’s GADRC and Public Affairs and Communications Office, warmly welcomed the delegation from MSU. The visit was an opportunity for both institutions to exchange valuable insights and best practices in gender and development.

During the visit, Ms. Maria Czarina P. Sioco, GADRC Staff Member, presented CvSU’s notable achievements in gender and development, guided by the four entry points of the Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework (GMEF): Policy, People, Enabling Mechanisms, and Programs, Activities, and Projects (PAPs). She emphasized that CvSU’s recognition as a four-time Most Outstanding GAD Implementer is due to strong leadership support and active collaboration with stakeholders.

This visit highlights the importance of mutual learning and shared commitment to advancing gender equity and inclusion in educational institutions.
